BOLE Europe at FAKUMA 2026: Two Technologies, One Goal – Maximum Efficiency

September 21, 2026

At FAKUMA 2026 in Friedrichshafen, BOLE Europe will present two different approaches to modern, energy-efficient injection moulding. At booth A7-7405, visitors will be able to see the fully electric FE 100 injection moulding machine and the compact DK 200 two-platen injection moulding machine live. The focus will be on energy efficiency, process precision, repeatability and reducing the manufacturing cost per good part.

From 12 to 16 October 2026, BOLE Europe will take part in FAKUMA in Friedrichshafen, one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for plastics processing. This year’s presentation will be held under the slogan “Two Technologies. One Goal. Maximum Efficiency.”, highlighting how high production efficiency can be achieved through different drive and machine concepts.

At the BOLE Europe booth, two injection moulding machines representing different design approaches will be showcased: the fully electric FE 100 and the DK 200 two-platen machine. In both cases, the objective is not only to reduce energy consumption, but to improve the overall efficiency of the injection moulding process: stable production conditions, high repeatability, less scrap and the lowest possible cost per good part.

FE 100 – precision and efficiency through fully electric drive technology

The FE 100 belongs to BOLE’s fully electric injection moulding machine range. The use of independent electric drives enables precise control of individual machine movements and ensures that energy is used only when it is actually required during each process step.

This results in low energy consumption, high control accuracy and excellent cycle-to-cycle repeatability. Precise control of both the injection unit and the clamping unit helps maintain stable process parameters, which is particularly important in the production of technically demanding moulded parts.

Electric drive technology also enables fast and dynamic machine movements, supporting short cycle times. At the same time, the FE 100 operates quietly and cleanly, making it well suited to modern production environments where energy consumption, process cleanliness, noise levels and working conditions are all important factors.

The FE 100 concept can be summarised in one simple statement:

“Energy only when you need it.”

DK 200 – high performance in a compact two-platen design

The second machine presented by BOLE Europe at FAKUMA will be the DK 200, based on a two-platen clamping concept.

The two-platen design enables high clamping force combined with compact machine dimensions. The reduced length of the clamping unit supports efficient use of available production space. This is an advantage both when planning new production lines and when modernising existing production facilities.

The DK 200 combines a compact machine design with energy-efficient drive technology, high process stability and strong industrial production performance. Efficient force transmission within the two-platen clamping unit, together with its overall design, allows effective use of the available mould space and makes the machine particularly suitable for applications involving larger moulds where floor space is limited.

Another important element of the DK concept is the energy efficiency of its servo-hydraulic drive system. The hydraulic system output is adapted to the actual demand of each process step. This helps reduce energy losses compared with older hydraulic systems using continuously operating pumps.

Less energy per good part

With its presentation at FAKUMA 2026, BOLE aims to take a broader view of production efficiency. Low power consumption is only one part of the equation. Equally important are process repeatability, cycle time, scrap reduction, consistent part quality and the total manufacturing cost per good part.

One of BOLE’s key communication messages is therefore “Less Energy per Good Part.” This means assessing energy efficiency not only in terms of the machine’s instantaneous power consumption, but in terms of the efficiency of the entire production process.

The FE 100 and DK 200 demonstrate two different ways of achieving this goal. The FE 100 uses the advantages of directly driven electric axes to deliver high precision, dynamic performance and accurate process control. The DK 200 combines a compact two-platen concept with high production performance and energy-efficient servo-hydraulic drive technology.
